Designed Living Environment
ArkDes is tasked by the government to monitor and support the national architecture and design policy goals outlined in the Policy for Designed Living Environment. This policy pertains to the planning and design of our cities, villages, and spaces, and how these elements impact our everyday life and well-being.
The concept of ‘designed living environments’ encompasses architecture, urban planning, design, art, and cultural heritage. The objective is to create sustainable, aesthetically pleasing, and functional environments for people to live and thrive in.
Practice-based research
