How can service design be used to address complex societal challenges? In collaboration with the Service Design Network Sweden, ArkDes invites you to an evening exploring design as a tool for system change.
Design is not only about objects – it is also a creative process that shapes decisions, ways of working, and everyday life.
Service design is often used to improve user experiences and develop services. But its methods can also help us see the bigger picture and tackle broader issues such as crisis preparedness, climate transition, and long-term societal development.
During this Design Bar, we will explore how service design can contribute to change at a system level – from solutions close to everyday life to policy development and strategic transformation.
The evening begins with a conversation between researchers and practitioners from the public sector and concludes with a workshop in smaller groups.
