From The Women´s Building Forum to Alstra

The Women´s Building Forum (now Alstra ↗) was founded in 1980 to highlight women s knowledge and experience in architecture and urban planning and has since been an active voice in the field through debates, housing exhibitions, and working groups. Today, the organization operates under the name Alstra – a building forum for norm-creative and power-critical architecture and urban development. Its focus is on participating in public debate, sharing experiences across professional boundaries, and creating a supportive network for women, non-binary, and trans people.

This event provides a space to connect, exchange ideas, and reflect on the evolution of feminist and power-critical work within the built environment past, present, and future.
