School Programme: Spatial Adventures

For preschool children aged 4 and up, and Year 0.

In this school programme, children explore spaces and buildings through play, secret rooms and their own creative work, both in the exhibitions and in the Studio. We experience how spaces can be bright or dark, quiet or full of sound, and we talk about different materials. Together, we build, think and discuss how spaces can look, sound and feel in many different ways.

The school programme supports goals in the preschool curriculum such as:

• developing curiosity, creativity and the desire to play and learn,
• imagination and the ability to form ideas,
• creative abilities, and the ability to express and communicate experiences, thoughts and knowledge through a range of forms including image-making, design, drama, movement, song, music and dance, among others.

The school programme lasts two hours and includes a workshop. Suitable for children aged four and up.

The program is free of charge. Max 15 pupils per session.

ArkDes reserves the right to charge a no-show fee of 1000 SEK.
