Unboxing: The Lost Church
In 1963, architect Léonie Geisendorf was commissioned to design Stockholm’s new Catholic church. Her proposal was praised by colleagues and in the press, yet after 13 years of work, the commission was awarded to another architect.
Together with her friend and colleague Charlie Gullström, we delve into never-before-shown material. Through drawings, sketches, letters, articles, and photographs, we’ll journey through the creative process and the struggles behind the ”masterpiece that was never built”.
