And perhaps it is there – beyond the city limits – that new ideas about housing, sustainability, and community are beginning to emerge. We look at how rural areas have served as a reservoir of resources – both material and mental – for a country in constant transformation. Through the exhibition ArkDes Collection, we explore the ideas, buildings, and visions that have shaped Sweden. Welcome to listen, look, and reflect together.

The tour is based on the exhibition ArkDes Collection and ties in with the Swedish Television series How Sweden Was Built ↗ (Så byggdes Sverige), with a special focus on the episode: The Countryside.
