Gingerbread House 2026 Awards Ceremony

Gingerbread House 2026 is more than just a beautiful exhibition of gingerbread and icing. It is also a competition. Today, the winners will be announced and prizes awarded.

Gingerbread House is a beloved, fragrant exhibition where creativity flows. Children, young people, adults, amateurs and professionals compete side by side with the houses they have built from gingerbread dough.

After careful assessment by a jury of experts in architecture, design and baking, winners are chosen in the following three categories:

• Up to 12 years old
• Architects, designers and bakers
• Everyone else who bakes

The gingerbread houses are judged on color and form, edible quality, construction and connection to this year’s theme, the future. In addition, visitors to the exhibition have voted for the winner of the Public’s Prize.
