Gingerbread House Awards Ceremony 

After hours of planning, baking, and decorating, the bakers arrived in November at ArkDes, ready to brighten this year’s gingerbread house exhibition with their masterpieces.

The Gingerbread House 2024 exhibition has filled the air with the scent of spices, inspired visitors, and impressed with its intricate details. Now, the time has come – it’s time to crown the winners of Gingerbread House 2024!

The gingerbread house exhibition is a beloved and aromatic exhibition where creativity flourishes. Here, children, youth, adults, amateurs, and professionals compete side by side. There are three competition categories:

• Architects, designers, and bakers
• Up to 12 years old
• Everyone else who bakes

This year’s jury, composed of experts in architecture, design, and baking, has selected winners in each category. The public has voted for the winner of the Public prize. During the ceremony, all prizes will be presented by ArkDes Acting Director Karin Nilsson.
