Dive into a world of architecture!

Discover one of the world’s largest architecture collections and get to know the ideas that shaped modern Sweden. Join guided tours, go on a treasure hunt with ArkDes curators, meet historian Karin Carlsson, try out prophylaxis, and make your own protest pin.

ArkDes is open with free admission from 18:00 to 02:00 during Kulturnatt Stockholm!

Programme activities

The following parts of the program will be available in English.

19:00-01:00 — Workshop: Protest-pins
Express your own opinions with a self-designed pin. Drop-in.

19:00-21:00 — Unboxing
Join the curators on a treasure hunt amongst ArkDes Collection and unpack unexplored gems.

20:00-22:00 — Try out-prophylaxis!
Practice breathing and relaxation with a trained midwife. First come, first served!

21:00-21:15 — Guided tour: How do we want to live?
A short tour about housing and what makes a home. In English.

22:00-22:15 — Gudied tour: ArkDes Collection
An introduction to ArkDes collection and the role of architecture in society. In English.
