Discover one of the world’s largest architecture collections and explore the ideas that shaped modern Sweden. Join a guided tour, take part in the Unboxing of the ArkDes collection, meet historian Karin Carlsson, try out prophylaxis, and create your own protest pin.

ArkDes is open with free admission from 18:00 to 02:00 during Culture Night!

On Saturday, 26 April, Stockholm’s cultural life comes alive – and Skeppsholmen offers a sea of late-night activities for the culturally curious, many open until 02:00. Culture Night bus to Skeppsholmen

The Culture Night shuttle bus runs between T-Centralen and Skeppsholmen throughout the evening during Culture Night 2025. And just like the rest of the night—it’s completely free! Info about the Culture Night bus ↗.

19:00-01:00 — Workshop: Protest-pins
Express your own opinions with a self-designed pin. Drop-in.

19:00-21:00 — Unboxing
Join the curators on a treasure hunt amongst ArkDes Collection and unpack unexplored gems.

20:00-22:00 — Try out-prophylaxis!
Practice breathing and relaxation with a trained midwife. First come, first served!

21:00-21:15 — Guided tour: How do we want to live?
A short tour about housing and what makes a home. In English.

22:00-22:15 — Guided tour: ArkDes Collection
An introduction to ArkDes collection and the role of architecture in society. In English.
