During one evening in October, ArkDes Library will transform into a life drawing studio. Join the artist collective SSKISS together with dancers as life drawing models, when they take over the award-winning library space by architect Rafael Moneo. With paper and pencil in hand, you are invited to experience and capture the library in a new way.
Over the past five years, SSKISS ↗ has organized life drawing events in different locations across Stockholm, exploring and challenging what drawing the moving body can be by placing it in new contexts. Life drawing has long been a close companion to architectural education — a way of training the eye to understand proportion, movement and space. During the evening, the library will become a space for collective drawing, to the sound of a DJ.
Free of charge, but limited seats and first-come, first-served basis. Drawing material and paper are included in the event.
