The Nordic Report 03, published in 2020, takes a deeper look at Sustainable Development Goal 12 in Agenda 2030 through twelve themes – spanning from circular systems to behavioural change. The report brings together voices from researchers, designers and practitioners, aiming to contribute to knowledge, reflection and action.
SUSTAINORDIC ↗ is a Nordic platform and network for sustainable consumption and production. It was established in 2015 through a joint initiative by ArkDes and Form/Design Center ↗ in collaboration with five other Nordic architecture and design organisations. The network operates in accordance with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 12 ↗ in Agenda 2030, and is based on a shared Nordic manifesto with twelve sub-targets linked to ongoing projects that address sustainability in the built environment.
The project is financed by the Nordic Council of Ministers ↗ and primarily targets policymakers, politicians and academia. ArkDes and Form/Design Center ↗ initiated and co-owned the project, with ArkDes serving as the administrative body until 2020. Since 2021, the platform has been managed and developed by Form/Design Center ↗.
