Discover the most intriguing new designs from Sweden’s young creatives. The exhibition Young Swedish Design displays unique pieces from a range of disciplines: from product design to crafts.
Young Swedish Design (Ung Svensk Form) provides a window to the future and a platform for young designers to showcase their ideas. The exhibition shows, among others, Matilda Norberg’s collection Earth’s Crust – Material rules that studies knitting as a technique, Björn Friborg’s sculpture Implosion which resembles a frozen moment, and Hemmo Honkonen’ s Audible Furniture that produces sounds when used.
The exhibition is the result of an award with the same name. Young Swedish Design 2018 is a co-production by ArkDes and Svensk Form (The Swedish Society of Crafts and Design), with support from IKEA and The City of Malmö.
