Unboxing Takes a Winter Break

The ArkDes concept Unboxing has quickly become a crowd favorite. This autumn, visitors have explored everything from Lisa Bauer’s vibrant illustrations to Ralph Erskine’s visionary sketches.

Unboxing will take a short holiday break starting December 16 and will return on January 7, 2025, with new opening hours: 13:00–15:00.

On December 13, from 13:00–16:00, there will be a unique opportunity to explore original drawings of the Nordiska museet by architect Isak Gustaf Clason. The material will be unpacked in collaboration with Svante Helmbaek Tirén from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and ArkDes curator James Taylor-Foster.

On December 15, from 13:00–16:00, Unboxing wraps up its autumn season with a festive finale. In connection with the Gingerbread House 2024 exhibition, experience a unique display of architect-designed gingerbread houses from the ArkDes photo collection. Welcome!
