The ‘Årets strålkastare’ award was presented at the annual national conference on Designed Living Environment, co-organized by the Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning ↗, the Swedish National Heritage Board ↗, ArkDes and Public Art Agency Sweden ↗. The award aims to spread knowledge, good ideas, and initiatives, and most importantly, to inspire others in the field of Designed Living Environment.

– The four agencies—the Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning, the Swedish National Heritage Board, ArkDes, and Public Art Agency Sweden—want to use the ‘Årets strålkastare’ award to highlight actors who, in their work, illuminate the various perspectives of designed living environments and spread knowledge and inspiration about consciously designed living environments, says Jessica Segerlund, Head of ArkDes Think Tank.
