Trocadero and Tunneln

At the end of the 1970s, architect Abelardo Gonzalez transforms the basement at Adelgatan 3 in Malmö into the nightclub Trocadero. It is a glamorous world where everything is allowed and everyone is welcome. After five years, the club closes, but in the same premises, Club Tunneln opens in the late 1980s. Trocadero’s glittery zebra-décor is replaced by a dance floor in glass and steel with references to ancient Egypt.
