The report Street Moves – Slow streets, fast cities – designing infrastructure for mobility and public life <\/em>outlines the launch of the Street Moves initiative and the development of physical prototypes created through an inclusive design process.<\/p>\n

Initiated by ArkDes in 2020 with project funding from Vinnova ↗<\/a>, the goal was to demonstrate, through research and design, how thorough studies of street spaces can lead to transformative changes in cities nationwide. The project aimed to deliver tangible results in the form of prototypes and design guidelines that could be rapidly and effectively applied to any street in the country while paving the way for deeper, city-wide transformations.<\/p>\n

The project brought together stakeholders from both the private and public sectors in a collaborative, ongoing design process—from initial analysis to idea generation and the creation of physical prototypes. Its impact has been extensive, reaching far beyond expectations, including significant international recognition.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n
