Having designed projects that have come to herald a new approach in\u00a021st\u00a0Century Swedish Architecture, Tham & Videg\u00e5rd is one of Sweden\u2019s most prominent and unique architectural studios.<\/p>\n

The exhibition\u00a0On: Architecture<\/em>\u00a0is\u00a0a full-scale spatial experience of models, new photography, and films\u2014all set within a unique glass ground. Presenting the studio\u2019s work in its entirety for the first time, the exhibition offers a deeper understanding of the contemporary architecture that shapes our cities and living environments today.<\/p>\n

The exhibition\u2019s title\u2014On: Architecture<\/em>\u2014originates in\u00a0Tham and Videg\u00e5rd\u2019s wish\u00a0to ignite a conversation about\u00a0architecture which are, to them, in the shadows. Building into an architectural debate in Sweden that often avoids core issues, the\u00a0exhibition highlights aspects\u00a0of the studio\u2019s work to shed light on other fundamental facets of architecture.<\/p>\n

The installation at ArkDes comprises 432 square metres of glass surface:\u00a0a gathering space, like a town square, that can be used for reflection and discussion as well as activities relating to contemporary\u00a0architecture and its role in society. The space brings you into contact with a full-scale architectural experience.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
