Welcome to learn about how we can make use of seemingly outdated industrial architecture through innovative design and maintenance.<\/p>\n

VERKET is a practice-based research project in collaboration between ArkDes and Ulricehamn municipality. In the project, team VERK-SAM has explored how Ulricehamn’s wastewater treatment plant and Fiskebacken can be taken care of and managed to become a resource when the area opens up to a public space. This evening you have the opportunity to meet the team, ask questions and discuss possible solutions for seemingly outdated industrial architecture.<\/p>\n

Take the opportunity to hear team VERK-SAM present their exploration of the wastewater treatment plant and proposals for the future of the site.<\/p>\n

About ArkDes' practice-based research<\/h2>\n \n

In addition to being a museum on Skeppsholmen, ArkDes explores real-world challenges through practice-based research. Architects and designers are invited to develop solutions using the tools of design.
