In this conversation, we take our starting point in the room where birth takes place. Today, more and more women in Sweden choose to give birth at home, partly due to a sense of insecurity in hospitals. Overcrowded wards and long travel distances can contribute to the perception that the hospital environment is less safe. What does the first room look like, and what functions should it fulfill? And what emotions should it be able to accommodate?<\/p>\n
