The virtual Sami architecture library gumpi.space is a digital manifestation of the artist and architect Joar Nango’s installation Girjegumpi. The library is an eclectic collection of books, texts, visuals, films, crafts and music ranging from rare and historical source material to more contemporary political literature on decolonization and indigenous architecture.

About Joar Nango: Joar Nango is a Norwegian-Sámi installation artist and architect. Girjegumpi – The Sámi Architectural Library is a mobile resource bank and a social platform that aims to shed light on indigenous architecture and colonial history in relation to architecture.
