Designed living environment – a conference about creativity, knowledge and competence

Since 2020, the Swedish National Board of Housing, Building, and Planning, the Swedish National Heritage Board, the Swedish Centre for Architecture and Design (ArkDes), and the Swedish Public Art Agency have been jointly organizing an annual conference on designed living environments. In 2023, which is the European Year of Skills, this conference focuses on competencies. The theme of this year’s conference explores the question: What competencies are required to conscientiously engage with designed living environments in our time and effectively address future challenges?

The conference is intended for individuals working at the municipal, regional, and national levels, within academia or within private entities.

⏰ When? October 3rd 2023, from 9 AM to 4.30 PM.

📍 Where? Physically at ArkDes, Stockholm, as well as broadcasted live online. Physical tickets are sold out, but you can still register to participate virtually.
