Tensta Museum’s branch: Dreams of a quarter and the organizing of women
Lunch and presentation of k.ö.k.: a platform that examines feminist organisation in practice and in theory. k.ö.k. was initiated in 2017 and is embedded in the existing organisation the Women’s Center at Tensta-Hjulsta.
k.ö.k. tries out and investigates different ways to build a feminist institution with existing communities – in this case the Women’s Center – and their experience and the context as the starting point.
With the support of artistic methods, knowledge is shared with a broader public and with other feminist organisations.
Meeting point: The Women’s Center at Tensta-Hjulsta, Glömmingegränd 31
Lunch: SEK 50 is paid in cash. Please register in advance to email@example.com and await your confirmation.
The program is part of Tensta Museum’s branch at ArkDes within the framework of the exhibition Public Luxury. At the Tensta Museum’s branch, the cooperative projects at Glömmingegränd are visualised with a presentation by Aktion arkiv, formed by the architects and scholars Helena Mattsson, Meike Schalk, and Sara Brolund de Carvalho.
