Making effect – architecture + research + society

How does research in architecture relate to architectural practice, policy, and to the broader community? Making Effect – Architecture + Research + Society highlights and discusses this issue in a three-day event and an exhibition aiming to conclude and publishing five years of research in the field of architecture in Sweden.

Making Effect will bring together researchers, international guests, practitioners and politicians along with a broader audience at a public event comprising presentations and reflections on research projects, a symposium on the housing situation and the welfare state, experimental workshops, and an exhibition.

Making Effect is intended as a forum for reflection on the results of research and their impacts on the community at large, and for formulating the most pressing themes that are emerging for research in the field of architecture from the interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary perspectives.
