Flying Panels – How Concrete Panels Changed the World
The Flying Panels exhibition tells of the time when a concrete panel hovering in the air symbolised faith in the future and embodied dreams of a better world. Meet exhibition curators Pedro Ignacio Alonso and Hugo Palmarola, who talk about the fascinating research process behind the exhibition. Also taking part: Adrian Forty, Emeritus Professor of Architectural History, Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, architect and historian Natalya Solopova, Erik Stenberg, architect and Associate Professor in Architecture at the Royal Institute of Technology School of Architecture and the Built Environment, and Jennifer Mack, Associate Professor at the Royal Institute of Technology School of Architecture, all of whom have contributed to the book Flying Panels.
